International Women’s Day has been celebrated since 1911. This year’s theme, #BreakTheBias, reminds us that there is still work to be done to reduce access and representation barriers far too many women face in the tech sector, particularly in recruiting.

According to Deloitte, the total percentage of female employees in the global technology workforce only grew by about 2% between 2019 and 2022, a figure that was no doubt influenced by the pandemic, but also reflects the need for a more targeted approach to gender diversity across the sector. Truly, the best way to lead in this area is not by words, but by example.

Today, March 8, our entire team is reflecting on the women who have guided SightCall to new heights with their work and ideas, provide transformative services to our customers, propel our entry and growth into new markets, and mentor and encourage their team members.
